Joining a DAC On-Chain

For many Star Atlas communities, joining a DAC is not just a Discord step. It also has an on-chain side.

The important distinction

From a user point of view, it is easy to think:

• “I joined the Discord, so I joined the DAC.”

But those are often different things.

A DAC may require:

1. a Discord-side approval step
2. an on-chain DAC join or application step
3. the correct wallet to be linked in AstralPass

Why AstralPass cares

AstralPass needs those systems to line up. If one of those pieces is missing, it may continue showing guidance instead of giving you the outcome you expected.

Common reasons this step feels broken

If you already think you joined, but AstralPass still does not recognize it, common reasons include:

• the wallet you linked is not the wallet that joined the DAC
• your DAC approval is still pending
• your Discord-side step is not complete yet
• AstralPass has not re-evaluated your current state yet

What to check first

If this is the step you are stuck on, check:

• which wallet actually joined the DAC
• whether Discord-side approval is complete
• whether AstralPass is looking at the same wallet you used on-chain
